At the “Legend Headquarters” we manufacture a complete range of custom built, handcrafted lures. The manufacturing processes are many and varied with some lures foam injected, plastic injected and just plain hand made. We specialise in the ability to deliver quantities of lures for your local area in the colours that work in that area. Legend Lures have been in production for some 14 years. Originally made and operated by Ray and Wendy Broughton in Corowa NSW. Graeme and Wendy purchased the business in 1995 and moved it to Wagga.

The range has expanded from the original Minnow and Hellmax style lures to incorporate the larger Cod and Yellowbelly style lures of the Yarrum, Outback and Billabong. Then in the last few years the spinnerbaits were added to the range, firstly with the Murray Cod Spinnerbait and more recently the Pro Series Spinnerbaits. This was done to have an extensive selection of budget right through to the top of the range Pro Series spinnerbaits. The Pro Series have the best componentry available with Japanese ball bearing swivels, baitfish skirts and holographic eyes. Finishing with combinations of lacquered silver and 24carat gold blades.

Spinnerbaits have been around for years for Bass fishing and the only spinnerbaits available would not stand up to the tough treatment from the Australian natives, so we developed ours with extra strong 5/0 Eagle Claw hooks and heavier weights. The extra weights were added to the range so they could be trolled in lakes such as Mulwala and Burrinjuck. The lighter weights are ideal for casting in around timber and can descend quickly if so desired.
